What are they?

Real-world example: Imagine you&#39;re texting your friend to meet at the mall. Neurons are like those text messages, buzzing back and forth ensuring everyone&#39;s on the same page.

Two Main Systems

	<li>Endocrine System: Think of this as the snail mail of the body. It uses glands to release messages called hormones. It&#39;s a bit slower but delivers essential messages.</li>
	<li>Nervous System: This is like instant messaging! Quick and snappy, using neurons to send signals. There&#39;s a whopping 85 billion of these message senders in the human body!</li>
</ul>

	Cell Body: The HQ of the neuron. It&#39;s packed with cytoplasm and contains the neuron&#39;s control center, the nucleus.

	Nerve Fibres: These are like highways on which nerve impulses (electrical signals) travel.

		Dendrites: The local roads. They are short, branched, and carry impulses between nearby areas like in the brain or spinal cord.

		Fun Fact: Think of dendrites like branches of a tree, stretching out to connect with others!

		Axons: The long-distance highways. They carry impulses from distant areas, like from your fingers to the spinal cord.

		Real-world example: When you accidentally touch something hot, the sensation travels super-fast through axons, making you pull your hand away quickly!
