🌍 Real-world Setting: Ever wondered why we get that gooey white stuff (called pus) when we have a wound? Here&#39;s the scientific lowdown!

<ul>
	<li>First Line: The physical barriers like our skin and mucous membranes.</li>
	<li>Second Line: If invaders get past our front gate (skin), our trusty white blood cells are on standby!</li>
</ul>

Not all white blood cells are the same. They come in various forms and have unique jobs!

<ul>
	<li>Special white blood cells that act like vacuum cleaners.</li>
	<li>They can actually squeeze out of our tiny blood vessels (capillaries) and move right to where the action is, aka sites of infection.</li>
</ul>

Engulf &amp; Destroy!

<ul>
	<li>They &quot;eat&quot; the invaders, like a burger! This process is called endocytosis.</li>
	<li>After engulfing, they use their secret weapon: enzymes from lysosomes to digest and destroy the invaders.</li>
</ul>

Phagocytes are our body&#39;s internal warrior cells. If any harmful invaders, like bacteria, get past our skin, these cells are ready to fight, engulf, and destroy them using special enzymes. So, the next time you see pus, remember that&#39;s evidence of your body&#39;s warriors working hard!

	<li>Imagine phagocytes like Pac-Man, moving around and gobbling up all the bad guys (pathogens).</li>
	<li>Think of your body as a fortress. The skin is the main wall, but if invaders climb over, there are guards (phagocytes) inside ready to tackle them!</li>
