Immunity - The Body's Shield 🛡️

  • What is it? Our body's superpower to kick out infectious diseases.
  • Fun Fact: Ever wonder why we don't catch the chickenpox twice? That's immunity in action!

Antibodies - The Body's Little Knights

  • What do they do? They fight off invaders like viruses and bacteria.
  • How long do they last? Not forever! Just a few weeks or months.
  • Real-world example: Imagine getting a protective bubble after falling off your bike. It protects you for a while, but eventually, it pops, and you need to be careful again.

Plasma B-Cells - The Antibody Factories 🔬

  • Role? They create those knightly antibodies!
  • Life Span? Short-lived. Once their job's done and the disease is gone, they leave.
  • Why do they leave? Imagine a toy factory that stops making toys after Christmas is over. With the demand gone (disease), the factory (Plasma B-cells) closes.
