Are you striving to achieve a 7 in IB Biology? Meet Dr. Angela Jebailey, your new IB Biology HL/SL instructor at Nail IB. Angela is not just an experienced educator, but also a person who genuinely cares about the teacher-student relationship and believes that a good connection is key to enjoying and succeeding in a subject.
A little about Angela: she's a blend of three cultures - Canadian, Brazilian, and Lebanese, having lived and studied internationally herself. She holds a bachelor's degree in biology and nutrition, a master's in teaching education and sports nutrition, and a PhD in quantum physics and alternative medicine. With over a decade of experience teaching IB Biology in international schools across Brazil and the Middle East, Angela knows the ins and outs of the IB curriculum and exam structure like the back of her hand. She is also an IB examiner with almost 8 years of experience correcting official exams, which means she knows exactly what the examiners are looking for!
Angela's unique approach goes beyond just teaching the content. She also works on her students' mindset, as she believes that believing in oneself is half the battle won. With an impressive track record of helping her students achieve an average class score of 6.18, Angela knows how to nail not only the IB Biology content but also the belief system necessary to succeed.
In her course, Angela will cover the four themes of IB Biology, the extended essay (EE), internal assessments (IA), lab reports, Theory of Knowledge (TOK), and past IB exam questions. She will help you decode the IB language, understand the questions being asked, and make sure you know exactly how to answer them. Furthermore, as a quantum life coach, Angela will share tricks and tools to build your confidence and keep you motivated.
