  • What? Japanese occupation of China (1931-1941) stunted China's call for independent state status.
  • So What? China asked the USA & League of Nations for help, but crickets ๐Ÿฆ—... until:
    • 1941: USA enters WWII! ๐Ÿ‘‰ China starts getting global nods.
    • 1945: Japan loses WWII. Big win for China & Jiang Jieshi ๐ŸŽ‰.
  • Fun Fact: China hit the "big leagues" by becoming a 5-member UN Security Council post-WWII! ๐ŸŒโœŒ๏ธ
