🤔 Backdrop: The Treaty was like the "Big Show" after WWI. But guess what? Not everyone was clapping!
Who's to Blame? The “War Guilt” Debate 🧐
- 🇩🇪 Germans: "Why's everyone pointing fingers at us? Shouldn't everyone share the blame for this mess?"
- 🌍 Real-world Example: Imagine if you and your friends made a mess during lunch, but the principal only punished you. Ouch!
Downsizing Germany's Defence! 🤺
- The Treaty told Germany: "Only 100,000 soldiers for you!"
- Imagine your favorite soccer team being told they can only play with 5 players instead of 11! 🥅⚽
- Meanwhile, the rest of Europe didn't downsize much. Talk about double standards!
Paying Up: Reparations & Losing the Gold Mines 💸
